This production of Much Ado About Nothing contains Shakespeare's original lyrics (to songs from multiple plays) set to 1980s inspired music. One of the reasons for setting Much Ado About Nothing in the 1980s was in fact the amount of "Feel-good music" in this time period, according the director, Josie Rourke.
