SABBATH- A day of rest, the last day of the week. From sundown Friday night to sundown Saturday night. Sabbath is a transliteration from hebrew שבת that has fallen out of use in most Jewish circles. Ashkenazi pronunciation is Shabbos, Sephardic pronunciation/Modern Israeli Hebrew pronunciation is Shabbat. The characters in the musical would likely have said "Gut Shabbos" instead of "good sabbath" if they were real people in a shtetl in imperial Russia.
SHTETL- A shtetl was a small town in Eastern Europe with a primarily Jewish population. Shtetlech were primarily found in the Pale. Video footage of life in a shtetl in 1921 can be seen here.
SIBERIA - Both Imperial Russia and the USSR used Siberia as a location for prison camps. You can read about them here.
